Beginning in 2015.....
As a single mother of 2 small children, Ruth felt a call to 'create a space where the weary can rest their feet, be filled up and sent back out into the world.' Much like on the movie 'It's a Wonderful Life', Ma Bailey had a boarding house. The name for this space came long before Ruth had the last name 'Bailey' herself. Marrying her husband, Kyle Bailey, sealed the deal.
Ma Bailey's is a house for broken women, lost souls and all in need of hope. With her career in birth work, housing women in the most crucial time of end of pregnancy and early postpartum just made sense to serve women in the time she is most passionate about.
